Tapping into a child’s natural creativity and imagination can give them various benefits that can help them throughout their lives. At Children’s Art Classes serving the West Hempstead, Garden City, Stewart Manor, Franklin Square, Floral Park, Mineola, Carle Place, New Hyde Park and surrounding areas, we’re helping parents find kids’ art classes that instill a sense of creativity in their children and help them find a passion for art. These classes explore various types of art to enrich children’s lives and introduce them to creative outlets they can turn to as they go through life.

  • Classes run the length of the school year
  • Classes meet once per week at the same day and time each week
  • One-time Registration Fee is $40
  • One-time Art Supply Fee is $135 (covers art supply for the entire school year)
  • Monthly Tuition $159 (billed automatically on the 1st of each month, and prorated if your child joins mid-month)

Our art programs are designed to help them explore more than 40 varieties of art, so they can find their passion and explore their creativity. Our programs are available for homeschooling and co-op education, summer workshops, birthday parties, and general classes for all ages and skill levels. Our art classes are dedicated to providing children with engaging activities that keep them busy and give them a solid foundation in the arts to enrich many aspects of their lives. Aqsa Ansari

Aqsa Ansari

Aqsa is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose practice spans painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, and weaving. She holds a bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in Teaching from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Her work is deeply inspired by her own South-Asian heritage, Aqsa’s personal work explores themes of identity, family, and cultural memory across a wide range of media.
Aqsa discovered her passion for teaching at a young age and has been nurturing creativity ever since. She is dedicated to inspiring young artists to explore their creativity with confidence and curiosity. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students feel supported to take artistic ricks, and express themselves freely.
Joan Moquin

Joan Moquin

Joan is a dedicated NYS-Certified educator with over 37 years of classroom experience at the preschool, elementary and middle school levels. She holds a BFA in Visual Arts and a MA in Education from St. John’s University.
Joan has extensive training in photography, printmaking, and sculpture as well as various media such as watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil. As a Children’s Art Classes instructor, she is passionate about sharing her love of art and committed to helping children explore and foster their own individual experiences as young artists.

Joey & Jaimie Cabarrubia

Joey & Jaimie Cabarrubia

Joey and Jaimie are the proud owners of Children's Art Classes (CAC) Studio in West Hempstead, NY.  They reside in the neighboring town of Garden City with their two daughters.

As parents of gifted artistic daughters, they were motivated to open CAC to contribute to their community and create a fun, creative space where kids can explore their artistic talents and express themselves in a myriad of ways.

Joey is a seasoned Finance professional in New York City. He holds an MBA in Finance and BS in Accounting from St. John’s University in NY. Jaimie is a stay-at-home parent and a creative hobby baker who makes customized specialty sweet treats for the community.
