Teachers

Tai Lotson

Tai Lotson

A true student of life, Tai Lotson immerses herself in art through everyday experiences, seeing the world through the lens of color and texture. Growing up, she spent countless hours watching her grandmother paint in her home studio, an experience that profoundly shaped her creative expression. This deep connection to painting has given her a unique appreciation for artistic techniques, allowing her to guide others in their own creative journeys.

As an art teacher, she brings a deeply personal and immersive approach to her work, inspiring students through hands-on techniques, storytelling, and music. She also draws from her experience as a yoga meditation and sound healing instructor. incorporating these practices to create a calming and encouraging atmosphere in her classes. By blending creativity with mindfulness, she helps students feel more present, open, and connected to their artistic expression.

Whether through the stroke of a brush, the rhythm of a song, or the power of a story, she helps her students unlock their creativity in the most artful and transformative way.

Ryan & Danielle Allen

Ryan & Danielle Allen

Ryan and Danielle are the proud owners of Children’s Art Classes in East Rockaway and devoted parents to three daughters—two whom they have the joy of raising and one who lives on in their hearts. Their journey to opening the studio stems from a deep passion for creativity, education, and making a meaningful impact on children's lives.

Danielle is a proud competitive dance mom, an autism advocate, a Type 1 Diabetes advocate, and a dedicated board member of Angels on the Bay, a nonprofit organization supporting children's medical needs. Ryan is a devoted father to his daughters, also a board member of Angels on the Bay, and brings 18 years of experience across various corporate functions—most recently in finance and HR. He is passionate about using his expertise to support meaningful initiatives that give back to children and families.

Together, they are excited to bring Children’s Art Classes to families in East Rockaway and the surrounding areas. Where Ryan and Danielle may lack in personal artistic skills, they make up for it with their passion and dedication to creating an environment where others—especially children—can explore their talents and develop their creativity.

They believe that every child has the potential to create something amazing. Their goal is to provide a welcoming, inspiring space where young artists can develop their skills, build friendships, and have fun along the way. Whether a child is a budding artist or simply looking for a creative outlet, Ryan and Danielle are excited to support and inspire them.
