Julia Mullins brings over a decade of experience as a visual arts educator, with a passion for nurturing creativity in young learners. She has taught in Lynn, Somerville, and Dartmouth Public Schools in Massachusetts, curating student art exhibits, developing curriculum, and mentoring new teachers along the way. Julia’s dedication to art education was nationally recognized when she received the 2023 Early Childhood Art Educator of the Year Award from the Massachusetts Art Education Association. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes both artistic skill and confidence building, helping children see themselves as creators with unique voices.
Her love for teaching has taken her across the globe—from painting murals with students in Kenya to bringing creative arts into classrooms in Nepal. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Art Education from Gordon College, and she is currently completing her Master of Education in English as a Second Language at Cambridge College. At Children’s Art Classes Aurora, Julia is excited to inspire young artists with her blend of technical knowledge, global perspective, and deep belief in the power of art to connect and empower children.
