Pay: $28–$45/hour (based on experience)
Children’s Art Classes is thrilled to announce its expansion into the San Diego area! We are currently inviting applications from passionate individuals to join our team as Art Instructors.
This position offers 10-20 hours of work per week. Additionally, we provide all necessary supplies and a comprehensive curriculum. Continuous professional development is a part of our commitment, including 2 days of initial training at our founder’s studio in Jacksonville, FL. You’ll also enjoy the benefit of small class sizes, limited to no more than 12 students per class, ensuring a focused and enriching teaching experience. Join our team and help inspire young artists to unleash their creativity!
Studio Location: Carmel Mountain Ranch, opening June 2026. Teacher training begins at the end of April.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts or Art Education degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong and effective communication abilities
- Proficiency in implementing a structured curriculum.
- Profound classroom management skills

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work two weeknights and Saturdays.
- Teacher may fill in for planned absences or emergencies.
- Willingness to help cover summer camps, special events, open houses, and birthday parties.
