Karin Mansberg is a printmaker and a teaching-artist. She has over ten years’ experience in teaching art, printmaking and interdisciplinary classes to various age groups — from preschoolers to adults.

Karin’s own fine art studies began at age 8 when she attended Tartu Children’s Art School for five years in Tartu, Estonia. She always wanted to become an artist and later on in college found she loved teaching. Karin earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Western Connecticut State University and is currently working towards her K-12 Art Teacher Certification at Central Connecticut State University.

Karin believes that young artists training their observational skills are learning so much more than just drawing – they learn to become better thinkers.
