Vince and Jessica are proud Islanders of Guam and now reside in Virginia since 2018. They started Children’s Art Classes in Alexandria to give kids the same steady, practice-focused place musicians and athletes get—but for creativity. Vince brings a service-minded drive for getting things done—permits, leases, buildout, and all the messy logistics that made the studio real. Jessica’s 20+ years in secondary education shape lessons that turn curious messes into clear skills. Together, they center the studio on playful, hands-on curriculum that teaches craft, curiosity, and creative problem solving outside the classroom.
The Children’s Art Classes are for individuals who want something different than (or in addition to) music and/or sports: thoughtful projects, real feedback, and mentors who value persistence over perfection. They believe in mentorship over medals, process over perfect, and helping kids grow confident habits of making that last. Vince and Jessica want to build the kind of creative practice that lasts long after the paint dries.
