Pay:$25–$45/hour (based on experience)
Children’s Art Classes-West Hempstead are currently accepting applications to fill our Part Time Art Instructor position.
We are looking for a certified art teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience to lead some of our camps this summer and take on classes for our fall curriculum.
All supplies and a full, structured curriculum are provided.
Core classes are small and capped at 12 students per class.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a BFA (required)

Minimum of 5 years of in-classroom teaching experience

Curriculum delivery experience

Strong classroom management skills

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work two week nights and Sundays.

Teacher may fill in for planned absences or emergencies
