Alex graduated in 2008 from IDC, design art institute, in Caracas Venezuela; earning a degree as a interior and landscape design major. While working as a children’s room furniture designer, she earned her masters in Art History.

After graduation, she worked as an event producer, working with numerous brands and travelling all around her home country.

She started working with children at the age of 17, and pursued a career in summer camps, owning her own for over a decade.

In 2014 she moved to the US with the dream of a better life. She worked as a stager (decorating mansions that were for sale) for 2 years in FL. In 2017 she moved to NC and started working in public education. Working her way up from receptionist, to a Kindergarten I.A., to lead secretary, to data manager; all while pursuing her love for abstract art and auctioning her pieces, and teaching numerous spring and fall after school art clubs.

If she’s not making or teaching art, you’ll be able to find her with her wife Tiffani and their 11 year old Ash at the beach, lake, river, pool, and basically anywhere with water; taking Ash to theater, cooking, running or at the gym.
